Senate likes a parliament, but senate members can’t do anything without permission of Roman King. It was advisory board of King. And only Patricians can be a member of Senate.
In ancient Rome there were three social class.
Patricians: They were powerful class of society. They have social and management rights. They were manager of government. They were elites.
Plebs: They haven’t any political rights. But they had economic rights. They couldn’t marry with a Patrician.
Clients: They haven’t got any rights. They were slave of Patricians.
