Plebs was second powerful class in Rome. They couldn’t manage Rome but they had some economic and social rights. They could do trade and farming. But in social life they can’t marry with a Patrician. And they can’t be a member of Senate.

In ancient Rome there were three social class.

Patricians: They were powerful class of society. They have social and management rights. They were manager of government. They were elites.

Plebs: They haven’t any political rights. But they had economic rights. They couldn’t marry with a Patrician.

Clients: They haven’t got any rights. They were slave of Patricians.
